EDUCATION

The City of Port Alberni is well known for spending money on exceptional infrastructure. Education is certainly no exception with a brand new, state of the art, high school currently under construction. The Alberni Valley has six elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school, and two colleges. There are also a number of private schools serving the Alberni Valley. The Village of Bamfield has one elementary school, and further education is generally provided to the children of Bamfield in Port Alberni.
